Wake up and Stretch!

When I woke up this morning and started to turn over I noticed my back was tight, neck a little sore and overall stiffness. I wasn't ready to get out of bed quite yet so I did some stretches over the covers. I brought my knees to my chest and hugged them in and rolled side to side. Then I took both knees to one side with my arms out 90 degrees and turned my head to the opp. side. This really helped stretch out my lower back and neck. I breathed in and out which helped  me stretch further. I reapeated this about 2 times on each side. I rolled over to one side and sat up and stretched to my toes and grabbed on. While breathing I gently bounced to stretch further. When I rolled up to seated position I took a few deep breaths and  felt better. Now I am ready to start my day.
