Wheeling Township Hosts First-Time Homeowner Seminar November 2
Assessor Ken Jochum will assist residents who are first-time homeowners to navigate the complicated Real Estate tax process.

Join Wheeling Township Assessor Ken Jochum, for an upcoming event designed for first-time homeowners, to help them understand and navigate the real estate tax process. The seminar, entitled, “How First-Time Homeowners Can Unlock The Mystery of Real Estate Taxes,” will take place Thursday, November 2 from 7-8:15 p.m. at the Wheeling Township Service Center, located at 1616 N. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
Property taxes are used to fund public schools, roads, libraries, park districts and municipal services, including police and fire protection and more.
Assessor Jochum said, “Often first-time home owners ask for help understanding how the real estate tax system works and direction in navigating the maze. This seminar will provide necessary information which will enable the management of owners’ taxes.”
