Yeezy Does It: Kanye West Opens 'Pop-Up Store' in Northbrook This Weekend
The temporary shop will sell merchandise connected to the rapper's latest album, "The Life of Pablo."
NORTHBROOK, IL — Rapper and Kardashian accessory Kanye West has opened a "pop-up store" this weekend in Northbrook to sell merchandise around his current The Life of Pablo album, according to an announcement the Chicago native made on Twitter and his website.
The store will be at the Northbrook Court mall, 2171 Northbrook Court, and the temporary will have the following weekend hours, according to his website:
- 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, and Saturday, Aug. 20
- 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21
The pop-up store concept is essentially the music industry's version of bringing the concert merch table to a non-concert-goer. Without the concert. Expect to find T-shirts and other items connected with West's newest album on sale at the store.
