Zengeler Cleaners Begins Work on New Location

The build-out at the new Zengeler Cleaners location in Northbrook has begun.

According to a community contribution on the Northbrook Star, the Midwest’s oldest and largest dry cleaner will move around the corner from Dundee Road to 770 Skokie Boulevard by mid-June.

“Zengeler Cleaners conducted a worldwide search to identify best-of-class equipment and machinery for the new store,” said Tom Zengeler, President of the family-owned company. “The new location will provide several added conveniences for customers, including technology that automates order processing, allowing customers to drop off and pick-up their orders 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year. We also took great care to assure our architecture fits seamlessly into the fabric of the Northbrook community while providing a modern, energy efficient operation designed to protect the environment.”
