Fundraising Event in Honor of Wilco’s Jay Bennett to Support Chicago’s Rock For Kids

Rock for Kids, a local non-profit organization that provides music education to underserved children in Chicago Public Schools, is honoring the legacy of Jay Walter Bennett of Wilco by establishing a scholarship in his name with the support of the Jay Bennett Foundation.

The event is Sunday, June 30th at Empty Bottle and will feature live performances by several artists, including Edward Burch, Robbie Hamilton, Ben Clarke and many more. Proceeds from the event will help provide music education to students in Chicago Public Schools (Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased in advance at emptybottle.com).

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM.
