Brick Oven Pizzeria and Cafe Joining Shopping Plaza on Western Avenue

Roscoe Village's newest eatery is set to open in September. Read on for details.

A new cafe in Roscoe Village, under new management, is being renovated to open as a pizzeria and cafe by mid-September.

Pi-Hi Cafe, owned by Fares Zanayed, used to be the location for a pizzeria and will continue to serve brick-oven pizzas. "In addition, the menu will include panini sandwiches, a juice bar and other healthy eats," Zanayed said.

Zanayed hopes to open the eatery in a month, after city inspections have been completed.

The location, right between a gyros joint and nail salon, is a strip mall at 3535 N. Western Ave.
