According to a cool interactive map put together by DNAinfo and based off of city dog licenses, labrador retriever is the the most popular dog breed in the 60618 zip code. Pit bull was second and German shepherd third.

That jibes with overall city preferences, which rank those as the top three breeds. Most of the dog licenses are for "mixed," "other," or "unknown," however. The DNAinfo analysis shows that north siders prefer labrador retrievers while pit bulls are more popular on the west side.
