Once the holidays are over, what should you do with your Christmas tree?

You should RECYCLE it!

Trees do not belong in landfills so they don’t belong in the alley. Trees left in alleys are a fire hazard! Recycled trees get a second life; they are turned into mulch for residents to use in their gardens. So how do you recycle your tree?

NNA will be collecting trees on Sunday, January 3rd and Sunday, January 10th 2016.

Take your tree to a NNA drop-off point. Please remove your ornaments, lights, and garland.

NNA DROP OFF LOCATIONS:

  • Montrose Green at 1819 W. Montrose - trees can be dropped off during the day from December 31 - January 10th.
  • Northcenter Town Square - 4100 N Damen. Trees can be left from December 31 - January 10th in designated area only.

*Do not leave trees at either location after Noon on January 10th*
