Harry Hellfire - Documentary

My name is Jim Morrison and I am a filmmaker from Long Island NY.  My music based documentary film 'Harry Hellfire" was recently selected to the Chicago International Movies & Music Festival.  And will be screening at the Elastic Arts Foundation at 2830 N.Milwaukee Ave, on Sat, Apr 20th @ 5PM.
I will be visiting your awesome city to be a part of the screening.  A Q&A follows afterwards.

Synopsis

"Harry Hellfire" is the story of a great musician no one has ever heard.  Residing in a tent behind a seaside graveyard in the Village of Greenport Long Island. To add insult to injury Harry had all his guitars stolen out from his tent. This is the tale of Harry's existence; one shaped by abuse, bullying, suicide, alcoholism, and defeat.A true-life depiction of a common yet tragic figure. There are moments here that serve as a reflecting pool for some and haunting reminders for others. An amazing self-taught guitarist in his adolescence, Harry continues to seek refuge through his playing. Which at the same time unearths resentment.  Through his own words and those who have known him since childhood, 'Harry Hellfire' pieces together a portrait to be left unfinished. A song yet to be sung.

CIMMFest's Synopsis

Cruddy, grainy VHS video footage gloriously enhances this bleak masterpiece of the dark end of the American rock 'n' roll dream. Director Jim Morrison follows the downward spiral of his high-school-dropout friend Harry "Guy" Biechele, a musician who at 42 is still vigorously in pursuit of heavy metal music. The dude is homeless, living in a tent behind a seaside graveyard in the Village of Greenport Long Island, and his guitars have been stolen. After decades of hardships, Harry hasn't stopped seeking refuge from his electric guitar. "Guy was as good as Clapton or Hendrix," says one friend. This is the perfect CIMMfest movie.

Most of us in the music community knew or knows someone just like Harry.  If you were ever in a band, or hung with your friends who had a band, then this may be a film worth checking out.  Come on by, and check out the film.

Please check out the films trailer, and see if it is something that my interest you.
