Lincoln Park's Peggy Notebaert Museum will serve as the Big Top for this (kind-of-new) 5K run/walk and 10K run that will take on a fun-filled circus theme with clowns, "trapeze" gymnasts and much more!
It's new(ish) in that it's technically a rebranding of Chicago's wildly popular and iconic Wacky 5K Run that--until it last took place in March 2009--was held for 18 years in Chicago's West Loop. (With the new location, this is technically its 19th year.)
Runners/walkers at this late winter/early spring event should be prepared for plenty colorful surprises both outside and inside the museum at the Wacky post-run/walk party
