Girl Posts Rifle Photo, 'I Won't Shoot Up Lane (Tech)': Report
A 14-year-old daughter of a Chicago firefighter posted a photo with the weapon on Snapchat, according to a report.
CHICAGO, IL — A Chicago firefighter is facing two gun violations after his daughter posted a photo of herself with a rifle and the message, "Don't worry, I won't shoot up Lane (Tech College Prep High School)," according to a report by the Chicago Tribune. School security contacted police to report the photo, which officials at first thought was fake, according to the report. Officers went to the firefighter's home and discovered a rifle, the Tribune reported.
No threat was found, according to the Chicago Public School District.
