Sharp Mamas and Little Gems International are coming together to teach Chicago area parents the basics of infant care. From before parents bring their bundle of joy home from the hospital, through the first weeks and months as a new mom or dad, the workshop will cover everything parents need to know.The course will be taught by knowledgeable experts, with a one-of-a-kind curriculum. The practical and useful educational topics include:
- Feeding Basics - breast & bottle
- Diapering
- Soothing Techniques
- Sleep and Swaddling
- Bathing
- Common infant ailments - gas, colic, congestion, etc.
- How to choose a pediatrician
- Postpartum care for mom
All attendees will receive a Sharp Mamas bag of swag with great gear! Cost is $150 per couple or $100 per single attendee.
