Larchmont Water Main Construction Almost Finished
Construction on the 100-year-old water main is set to finish within the next two weeks.

Larchmont Avenue will be back to normal in two weeks as construction wraps up on the water main stretching from North Lincoln to Ravenswood avenues.
The Department of Water Management installed 1,034 feet of 8-inch water main along the stretch because the old pipelines was more than 100 years old.
Jim Poole, the community specialist for Ward 47 Ald. Ameya Pawar, said that water main has had six leaks in the last two years.
