Liberty Bank Offers Free Back to School Health Fair

A free concert by Little Miss Ann, an Old Town School of Music teacher, will be sponsored by Liberty Bank for Savings at a Back to School Health Fair Friday, Aug. 16.  The health fair, hosted by State Representative Maria A. “Toni” Berrios will be held at Haas Park, 2402 N. Washtenaw, Chicago, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Little Miss Ann, who has been called one of Chicago’s “Most Influential Kids Musicians,” will perform at 11:30 a.m. She and her band will play a mix of folk-rock music, both traditional and new songs filled with rich vocals and a mix of simple instrumentation that is sure to entertain children from 4 to 14.   “We are delighted to bring one of Illinois’ most popular children’s performers to entertain area families.” said William J. Smigiel, Chairman and CEO of Liberty Bank.  

In addition to the concert, the event will include immunizations, hearing and vision screening, haircuts, raffle prizes, and information about city and state services.  Back packs filled with school supplies will be distributed to children as long as supplies last.  For more information about the health fair, contact Representative Berrios’ office at 773.736.3939.
