Man Accused of Stealing Car From Dealership Picked Up After Traffic Stop
Keshawn Green was arrested Wednesday in connection with the burglary of a Portage Park car dealership in October.

CHICAGO, IL — A North Lawndale man was arrested after being accused of stealing a car from a Portage Park dealership in October, according to Chicago police.
Keshawn Green, 22, of the 3100 block of West Fillmore Street, was charged with burglary in connection with the incident. He's being held on $50,000 bail.
According to police, Green was identified as the person who broke in to a dealership in the 5300 block of West Irving Park Road in October. At about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, he was pulled over for a minor traffic violation in the 6900 block of North Clark Street, police said.

A background check by officers during the stop uncovered the department's investigative alert concerning the October burglary, and Green was taken into custody.
