Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Avondale Shooting
The man shot a 19-year-old multiple times on West Belmont, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — A man has been charged with attempted first degree murder after he allegedly shot a 19-year-old multiple times on Chicago's North Side. Police said Ragael Serna Jr., 22, of Humboldt Park, was arrested Thursday at the 14th District Police station. Serna walked into the station after attempts by police to contact him, the station said.
Police said Serna was identified as the man who shot the 19-year-old multiple times April 15 in an alley in the 3400 block of West Belmont.
Serna, of the 1100 block of North Monticello, has been charged with one felony count of attempted first degree murder. He was scheduled to appear in central bond court friday.
