Man Found Dead On Brown Line Train On North Side
Police said the man was pronounced dead Friday morning.

CHICAGO, IL — A man was found dead on a southbound Brown Line train after it pulled into the Belmont stop in Lake View, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the stop in the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue just after 2 a.m., according to police. The train was halted and blocked off with crime scene tape as police investigated.
Police said the death did not appear to be suspicious.
CTA said Loop-bound Brown and Purple Line Express trains were not stopping at Wellington and Diversey during the investigation, and a shuttle was available for passengers between Belmont and Fullerton. CTA announced that regular service resumed about an hour later.
