Man Shot In The Face In Albany Park
A 30-year-old man was shot in the face in the city's Albany Park neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A 30-year-old man was shot in the face Wednesday morning in Albany Park, police said. The shooting happened at around 8:45 a.m. in the 4700 block of North Whipple Street near Leland Avenue, according to authorities. A suspect went up to the man on foot and shot him in the cheek, police said.
The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
No one was in custody as of Wednesday morning and an investigation was underway.
