Man, Teenage Girl Charged In North Center Armed Robbery

Two suspects face felony charges after an armed robbery in Chicago's North Center neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A man and teenage girl have been charged with armed robbery after a man was held at gunpoint in the city's North Center neighborhood Tuesday. The robbery happened in the 2000 block of West Grace Street just before 10 p.m., police said. The suspects took the man's phone, wallet and keys, police said.

When officers spotted the suspects, they ran away, and were caught in the 3400 block of North Claremont Avenue in Roscoe Village, according to police. Officers were able to recover the victim's belongings.

Kemar Matthews-Hill, 20, of the 8300 block of South Oglesby Avenue, and a 17-year-old girl are charged with one count of armed robbery.
