Candea Development recently purchased three buildings in North Center, each to become a seven-unit residential building, with two commercial spaces on the first floor.
The three buildings are located at 4845 N. Damen Ave., neighboring Gio's Bar & Grill.
The first building has already been sold, and the second building should be on the market in a couple weeks, according to building co-owner Allen Candea. The third building will go up in approximately two months.
Candea just began looking for commercial tenants for the buildings. And once the units are sold, it will take about nine months to build and sell out. Candea Development began the project in March.
"We just put the first building on the market, and it sold out relatively fast, so that's what we expect for the second and third buildings," Candea said.
