Northcenter Meets the North Pole at Jingle Bell Breakfast

Over the weekend, Northcenter had a visit from two very important celebrities over the weekend. Children of all ages clamored to meet the VIPs in question, who were unmistakable in their red suit and festive gear--Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Nearly 200 people from around the neighborhood joined the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce for the third-annual Jingle Bell Breakfast. The event has grown into a popular local holiday tradition and this year, experienced its largest turnout yet. After ringing in the holiday season with festive music and decorations and a hot breakfast served by volunteers, children eagerly waited to sit with our special guests and share their holiday wishes.

Santa could not have had a breakfast without some elves to help out. A host of volunteers from Concordia Place, the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Clubs, Alderman Ameya Pawar's office and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors served food, took photos and passed out coloring pages and crayons to guests.

Jingle Bell Breakfast attendees who are still looking to pick up their photos with Santa may do so at the Chamber office, 4054 N. Lincoln Avenue, during regular business hours, or call the office at 773-525-3609 to arrange a pickup time.

At the Chamber, we have thoroughly enjoyed watching this event grow every year, seeing many familiar faces and the opportunity to bring the community together to share in the festive spirit of the season. Thanks to all who attended, as well as our wonderful sponsors and volunteers!
