Pastoral Celebrates "Raclette!"
Will offer a prix fixe dinner series and "live" demonstrations inspired by the time-honored Swiss tradition
Bar Pastoral is hosting a prix fixe dinner series, featuring freshly melted Spring Brook Farms (Vermont) raclette (a semi-firm cow’s milk cheese) in a traditional Swiss dish of roasted meat and vegetables, crusty bread, and other savory accoutrements for $35.
The Michelin Guide recommended cheese & wine bistro, located at 2945 N. Broadway St. in Lakeview, will set aside its regular seasonal menu for these events on January 19, February 23, and March 22.
From Wednesday through Sunday leading into the events, Pastoral will offer “live” demonstrations in its three stores for how to prepare and serve raclette.

Diners can take part by making a reservation online or by calling the restaurant at 773.472.4781.
The stores will also offer a special grilled (raclette) cheese sandwich for $8.99, the perfect treat for National Cheese Lovers Day on January 20th.
