Robbers Attacking Victims In Albany Park
The robberies are happening in the early morning hours or late at night, police said.
CHICAGO, IL — Police have issued a community alert warning of robberies in the 17th District. In each incident, the offenders hit the victims with their fists and took their property, police said. The robberies happened between July 1 and July 8 in the early morning hours or late at night in Albany Park, according to the alert.
The robberies happened at the following locations:
- 3600 block of West Ainslie Street on July 1, at 11:26 p.m.
- 3500 block of West Lawrence Avenue on July 5, at 12:45 a.m.
- 4800 block of North Hamlin Avenue on July 8, at 1:20 a.m.
- 3400 block of West Lawrence Avenue on July 8, at 2:20 a.m.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
