TCF Bank Robbed at Gunpoint in Avondale Monday
A Hispanic man showed a handgun during a heist at a bank on Elston Avenue Monday.
CHICAGO, IL - The FBI is investigating a bank robbery reported in the city's Avondale neighborhood.
The TCF Bank at 3570 N. Elston Ave. was robbed just after 12:30 p.m. Monday by a man wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, according to a BanditTracker alert.
The robbery was described as a "non-takeover," but a handgun was shown.
