Toddler Falls Out Of Window On Chicago's Northwest Side

A 1-year-old girl was taken to St. Francis Hospital in serious condition.

CHICAGO, IL — A 1-year-old girl has been hospitalized after falling out of a window on Chicago's Northwest side, police said. The fall happened on Monday in Ravenswood Manor, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The girl was on the second floor of a building in the 2800 block of West Montrose Avenue, when she fell from the window. The department received the call just after 3:30 p.m., and she was rushed to St. Francis Hospital. Police said her condition was listed as "serious but stable."

No further details have been released.
