The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame was created in 2006, with the goal of shedding a light on restaurants that have had a 25-year or more relationship with Vienna Beef.
Another strong emphasis of the program is to showcase these restaurants that are truly community gathering spots, where families and friends enjoy time together, and make memories over generations. Those inducted into the elite group also have displayed a strong commitment to the area neighborhoods by supporting schools, youth sports and other causes.Â
To celebrate the occasion, The Original Luke's on Harlem owner, Steven Disilvestro will be giving out free Vienna Beef hot dogs from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
The induction ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.Â
The public is invited to share in this celebration, and of course - enjoy a free hot dog!
