Wallflower Power! Dancing for Non-Dancers Workshop

Wallflower Power is a free-dancing (non-partnered) workshop for folks whose dance floor fears keep them joining the fun at weddings, parties, and other social events.

In week one (Oct. 27), we will focus on listening and moving to rhythm, gaining body awareness, and putting the music and the body together, all in a comfortable environment at an unintimidating pace.

In week two (Nov. 3), the class will reinforce rhythm- and body-awareness, and then work on exploring variety, fluidity, and transitions. You will leave with a some solid moves that feel natural to you.

You may sign up for just one or both sessions through Dabble. Cost is $25 for each 90-minute session. Please register in advance.

Our upcoming Evanston workshop is Nov. 6–13. Check our website for the details!

Enough of just watching while folks cut a rug at weddings and holiday parties. It's time to get off the wall!
