Police Officers Suffer Smoke Inhalation In North Side Fire
A woman and two officers were treated for smoke inhalation Monday night, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Two police officers and a woman were taken to a hospital after a fire in Lakeview Monday night, police said. The officers were responding to the fire in an apartment in the 3800 block of North Fremont Street around 10:15 p.m. The woman and the officers suffered from smoke inhalation, according to authorities.
The officers were taken to an area hospital in good condition, police said. The woman—who lived inside the building—was also in good condition, according to authorities.
No residents were displaced after the fire, police said. An investigation was underway.
