91-Year-Old Man From Oak Brook Wins $1M On Powerball Ticket
He's played the Illinois Lottery since it first began. Now he finally won.
OAK BROOK, IL — Robert Schuit has been playing the Illinois Lottery since he was 47 years old and the lottery held its first drawing. Now 91, Schuit has finally won his first major lottery prize and it was definitely worth the wait. He's now $1 million richer after matching five numbers in Powerball.
Schuit, who married for the first time when he was in his early 80s, plans to do some remodeling on his Oak Brook home, ABC 7 reports.
Schuit's winning Powerball ticket was sold at 7-11 in Westmont.
