Danica Patrick hosts “A Girlfriends’ Guide to Healthy Driven” May 3 in Oak Brook

The event will feature cooking demonstrations with Patrick and opportunities to have your photo taken with her.

Danica Patrick, race car driver and spokesperson for Edward-Elmhurst Health, will host “A Girlfriends’ Guide to Healthy Driven” on May 3, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club, 800 Oak Brook Rd. in Oak Brook.

Patrick, who grew up in Roscoe, Illinois, drives the No. 10 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

In 2014 Patrick, the most successful woman in the history of American auto racing, helped Edward-Elmhurst launch its Healthy Driven campaign with the goal of getting people to take charge of their health. Since then, Patrick has been featured in TV and radio commercials, full-page newspaper and magazine ads, billboards, and as a guest blogger on Edward-Elmhurst’s web site, EEHealth.org.

“A Girlfriends’ Guide to Healthy Driven” will include:

  • Cooking demonstrations featuring Patrick, and Food for Thought, Chicago’s premier caterer
  • Opportunity to have your photo taken with Patrick
  • Health displays with information from experts on how to live a Healthy Driven life
  • Trunk show shopping featuring beauty items, clothing, jewelry and products for the home
  • Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres
