Famous DJ Deadmau5 Now Owns A Half-Gallon Of McDonald's Szechuan Sauce
You won't believe how much Deadmau5 paid for a jug of McDonald's Szechuan Sauce. He made the top bid during his wedding weekend

OAK BROOK, IL — When McDonald's unleashed a batch of its elusive Szechuan sauce for the creators of Rick and Morty, three lucky customers also got a half-gallon bottle. The sauce —apparently transported through time from 1997, according to the fast food company— made its way onto ebay, where it was snagged by none other than DJ Deadmau5.
This epic story began when one of the winners, Robert "DCD" Workman, listed his mother lode of the tangy Szechuan sauce on ebay on August 5. The stakes rose amid bidders when Deadmau5 logged on in the middle of his wedding weekend and began ramping up the bidding price. Deadmau5 came in as the second highest bidder, but cinched the sauce after a the top bidder reneged on his $15,350 bid.

According to his Twitter page, Robert Workman plans to evenly split the remaining 25% of the ebay sale among some of his favorite charities, including Able Gamers, Gamers Outreach, and Extra Life. We're hoping Deadmau5 gets the Szechuan sauce in time to enjoy it on his honeymoon.
