Event To Benefit Suicide Survivors At Drury Lane In Oak Brook

The event will be hosted by celebrity designer and HGTV star Monica Pederson, who lost her own brother to suicide.

OAK BROOK, IL — Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago will present the 27th Annual Blossoms of Hope fundraiser to benefit suicide survivors on April 29 at Drury Lane Theatre. The event will be hosted by HGTV star and celebrity designer Monica Pedersen, who lost her own twin brother to suicide.

Those who attend will be served Drury Lane's popular brunch and will have the chance to take part in a silent auction. There will be a wine grab, a raffle, and other opportunities for prizes, but the event's main focus will be to foster conversations between suicide survivors.

Last year, the Blossoms of Hope event raised over $100,000. Donations are used to assist family members of people who have committed suicide through the Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) program at Catholic Charities.
