Head-On Collision In Oak Brook Leads To DUI Charges For Both Drivers
Sean Maroney, 20, of Ohio, and Molly Paige, 25, of Lombard, have been charged with DUI after a head-on collision on Roosevelt Road Sunday.

OAK BROOK, IL — A head-on collision in Oak Brook Sunday has led to DUI charges for both the drivers involved. According to Police, Sean Maroney, 20, of Chandon Ohio, was driving on the wrong side of Roosevelt Road when he crashed into a car driven by Molly Paige, 25, of Lombard.
Paige reportedly had three passengers in her car at the time of the accident and Maroney was driving alone. All parties were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for injuries. An investigation led police to discover that Paige and Maroney were under the influence of alcohol before they got behind the wheel.
Sean Maroney was charged with a felony count of aggravated DUI. Molly Paige was charged with a misdemeanor DUI. At the hearing, DuPage County State's Attorney General Robert Berlin said, "As I have said time and time again, all DUI crashes are 100% avoidable. People have got to learn that if you have been drinking, don’t think you are alright to drive. Call a taxi or call a friend – you’ll thank yourself the next morning. Thankfully, no one sustained life-threatening injuries in this crash. "

Maroney is scheduled to appear in court on September 25 for an arraignment.
