McDonald's Unleashes Its Loaded Bacon Cheese Fries
McDonald's new bacon cheese fries are so loaded with cheese that they come in a basket. Here's where you can find them.

OAK BROOK, IL — After decades of serving its french fries unadorned in the U.S., McDonald's has found a way to add a little flair — and even more calories — to its famous fries. Enter the loaded bacon and cheese fry basket. The fast food icons announced last month that it is rolling out the pleasure- and guilt-inducing goodies at select cities across the country.
This epic announcement is part of a big image overhaul at McDonald's, which also introduced Star Wars-esque uniforms, signature sandwiches, Minute Maid slushies and a fork made out of fries (that they obviously dubbed a "frork") this year. The fast food chain is attempting to keep up with the likes of Wendy's and Sonic, both of whom have outpaced them recently. With the loaded bacon fries, McDonald's is taking a cue right from the competitors' play books.
To get your hands on —or in— a heap of loaded bacon fries, you'll have to trek to Pittsburgh, Southeast Ohio, Eastern Kentucky and Central West Virginia for now, according to delish.com. If testing goes well, loaded bacon fries may expand to your city soon.
