Michael Jordan's Restaurant Opens July 17 In Oak Brook

OAK BROOK, IL — Meat lovers rejoice! The grand opening of Michael Jordan's in Oak Brook will take place on Monday, July 17. The restaurant —a spinoff of Michael Jordan's Steakhouse in downtown Chicago— will occupy a space in the Oak Brook 22 at 22 Oak Brook Center, but the atmosphere and menu have inventive twists for customers to enjoy.

Executive Chef Craig Couper, who helms the kitchen at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, has curated a mouth-watering menu of prime steak cuts, including some different options that aren't offered downtown. Diners can slice into prime Delmonico ribeye, bone-in filet or Kansas City strip steak and more. Other gourmet entrees include tuna poke and steak tartare and Chilean Sea Bass. There are options for those who are more vegetable-minded too, including a massive 23-ingredient chopped salad that's prepared tableside. If you're in a hurry, you can pick up a breakfast sandwich, fresh salad or gourmet pastry from the restaurant's grab-and-go menu.

Michael Jordan's Restaurant in Oak Brook also features a full bar menu with an assortment of domestic craft beers and creative cocktails. For the restaurant opening, HopButcher has collaborated with the restaurant to create a new brew called "His Aleness." It will be available for a limited time. The wine selection spans the globe and features many of the basketball greats favorite vintages.

Basketball fans will appreciate the restaurant's decor, which features basketball court flooring, memorabilia from Jordan's career, including rare photos that make up the largest private collection to date.

Michael Jordan’s Restaurant will offer lunch Monday – Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and dinner Monday – Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
