Oak Brook 2017 Halloween Sex Offender Registry Safety Map

OAK BROOK, IL— Halloween is right around the corner, but before you take the kids trick-or-treating, it's a good time to take an inventory of who lives in your neighborhood.

There are currently three registered sex offenders living in Oak Brook. Each pin on this map represents the address of a person convicted of a sex crime or sex crimes. Click the pin to find out an offender's name, date of birth, and sex crime convictions.

According to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, registered sex offenders are not allowed to wear Halloween costumes in public or pass out candy. They are also prohibited from wearing any type of "child-centered" holiday costume, such as the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus, in public.

Parents can use this map to avoid trick-or-treating at these addresses if they'd like or to have a greater knowledge of who lives in their neighborhood throughout the year.
