Woman Drives To Oak Brook To Escape Hurricane Irma, Has Car Stolen
After fleeing Hurricane Irma to stay in Oak Brook, a woman had her 2015 Dodge Journey stolen from a driveway in the first block of Cambridge

OAK BROOK, IL — A woman who came to Oak Brook to seek shelter from Hurricane Irma and feared she would lose everything has now had her car stolen. The woman, 58, was staying with family in the first block of Cambridge Avenue when her 2015 Dodge Journey was stolen from the driveway.
The homeowner's vehicle, a 2014 Ford Escape, was also stolen, according to Chicago Tribune. Police told Chicago Tribune that both the Dodge and the Ford had been left unlocked with their keys inside. The incident likely took place some time between Sunday at 10 p.m. and Monday at 10 p.m.
Oak Brook Police say they have some leads on the double car theft, but have not made any arrests as of Tuesday.
