2 Killed When ATV Hits Concrete Barrier: South Holland Police
The crash happened late Tuesday at 159th and Van Drunen Road. A 32-year-old woman and 47-year-old man died, police said.
SOUTH HOLLAND, IL — South Holland police are investigating an ATV crash that killed a South Holland woman and a Country Club Hills man late Tuesday night on Van Drunen Road, according to a release.
At approximately 11:09 p.m. on March 24, officers were dispatched to the area of 159th Street and Van Drunen Road following an iPhone crash detection alert. Officers at the scene determined that an ATV—an all-terrain vehicle commonly known as a four-wheeler—had struck a concrete parking barrier.
The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The male victim was found unconscious with traumatic injuries and was transported to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The female victim, whose phone issued the crash detection alert, has been identified as Bria Fleming, 32, of South Holland. The male victim has been identified as Terrell Jennings, 47, of Country Club Hills.
Preliminary investigation indicates that no other vehicles were involved, and there were no witnesses to the crash.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the South Holland Police Department, with assistance from the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team.
