2015 Vikings United Feeder Basketball
Tryouts are Wednesday, October 28th, from 7pm - 9pm and open to boys in 7th and 8th Grade

TEAM UP is set to kick off tryouts for the 2015 Vikings United Feeder Basketball Season. Tryouts are open to boys in 7th and 8th grade and will take place on Wednesday, October 28th, from 7pm-9pm in the Homewood-Flossmoor High School North Gym.
The purpose of the Vikings United Feeder Program is to afford basketball players in the Homewood-Flossmoor School District the opportunity to play together in an organized setting under the tutelage of highly knowledgeable coaches and ex-players. It is the goal of the Vikings United staff to provide the tools for players to be successful on and off the basketball court. Once selected, the teams will play in both individual exhibition games and various feeder tournaments, mostly throughout the Chicagoland area. Additionally, the teams will practice at Homewood-Flossmoor High School at least once a week. It is important to note that all practices and games will be coordinated with the local Junior High Basketball Teams, in order to ensure that the players are not being overworked and that school remains a number one priority.
The Vikings United Boys Basketball Feeder Teams are endorsed by both the Homewood-Flossmoor Athletic Department and the entire Homewood-Flossmoor Boys Basketball coaching staff. The players in the program will have the opportunity to meet and work with some of the current Homewood-Flossmoor Boys Basketball coaches and get to meet and speak with members on the current Varsity Boys Basketball team.
