2016 Fleadh Specials Lineup: Specials Offered at Pubs, Restaurants

Oak Forest will paint Cicero Avenue green Saturday, with the 7th Annual Oak Forest Fleadh (pronounced β€œflah”) on Saturday, March 5 on Cicero Avenue between 151st and 159th streets. The Fleadhβ€”Gaelic for β€œfestival”—includes the CNB Oak Forest Fleadh 5K, an open streets event, a family parade, and a pub and restaurant open house.

The latter half of the day features a bar and restaurant open house that kicks off at 5 p.m. and runs until the early morning hours. Eleven Oak Forest watering holes will participate in the open house. Free shuttle buses will make continuous stops from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m. at participating pubs and restaurants. And don’t forget the free parking available all day and night in the Arbor Commuter Lot at the southwest corner of 159th Street and Oak Avenue, across from the Metra train station.
