2019-2020 Eleanor C. Ferraro Scholarship Winners

Eleanor C. Ferraro was a former Bremen High School District 228 School Board Member who was passionate about the fine and performing arts. When she passed, a prom dress fundraiser was created and held in her memory. The fundraiser, held every year, asks community members to donate their old prom dresses and formal dresses. The dresses are then sold at a reduced price to high school students in the Southwest area. All of the profits raised from the fundraiser go back into Bremen High School District 228 in the form of fine and performing art scholarships.

This year's winners include:

• Canyon Novick, Oak Forest High School, $1,500.00
• TeAnna Boyd Hodges, Bremen High School, $1,000.00
• Olivia Earll, Oak Forest High School, $1,000.00
• Luis Ortiz, Hillcrest High School, $1,000.00

Scholarship winners were announced at this year's District 228 Fine and Performing Arts Show held in early March.
