Afternoon Shooting In Country Club Hills Wounds Driver
Police are looking for the driver of a white or gray sedan who is believed to be the shooter.
COUNTRY CLUB HILLS, IL — One man was hospitalized after he was shot near the busy intersection at 167th and Pulaski on the border of Country Club Hills and Markham Monday afternoon between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The injured man's car was being chased by the driver of a white or grey sedan just before the shooting, according to a WGN report. The driver of the sedan fled the scene and that car is still being sought by police.
The victim was shot in the neck and is considered to be in extremely grave condition, WGN reported. Blood was found on the driver's side seat of his car and the ground nearby. Witnesses said a small rifle was used in the shooting.
