OAK FOREST, IL — An Oak Forest gaming café was targeted in a burglary earlier this week, according to Oak Forest police.
Oak Forest police around 5 a.m. Monday were called to Dotty's Café, 6070 W. 159th St., for a report of suspicious activity.
Police on-scene found damage to the business’s front glass door and adjacent window. Inside the business, officers noted damage to two gaming machines, including one that appeared to have had its money case removed. Nothing else inside the business appeared to be disturbed at that time, police said.
The business was closed at the time, no one was present, no injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation, according to City of Oak Forest Communications Director Chrissy Maher.
Police did not provide any information regarding suspects, or say if any video surveillance was available.
