Man Shot Multiple Times Inside Midlothian Bar, Suspects At Large: PD

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times while inside a Midlothian bar Monday late Monday night.

On May 18, approximately 11:18 p.m., Midlothian police were dispatched to the 14600 block of Waverly Avenue for a gunshot victim. Police at the scene found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Officers learned the victim was shot while he was inside of Halftime Lounge, located at 14640 S. Waverly Ave. Police said the two suspects fled the area in a vehicle. A description of the vehicle was not provided.

Midlothian detectives are actively investigating the incident.
