Tinley Park and Oak Forest High Schools Recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools Rankings

Bremen High School District 228 is proud to announce that Tinley Park High School and Oak Forest High School have been recognized in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings.

Tinley Park High School ranked 241 among Illinois high schools and Oak Forest High School ranked 202 in Illinois.

The annual rankings evaluate public high schools using factors such as college readiness, state assessment performance, graduation rates, underserved student performance and the breadth of college-level coursework available to students.

Tinley Park High School Principal Dr. Theresa Nolan said the recognition highlights the collective efforts of the school community.

"I am incredibly proud of the academics at Tinley Park High School. We are fortunate to foster a traditional, family-centered atmosphere where students thrive under the guidance of our exceptionally talented and devoted teachers," Dr. Nolan said. Being named a "Best High School" by U.S. News & World Report is a tremendous honor and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students with our entire Titan Family and the Tinley Park community. Oak Forest High School Principal Jane Dempsey also credited the school's students and staff for their continued commitment to excellence.

"Oak Forest High School's recognition as a Best High School by US News & World Report confirms what we already know, OFHS is a great place," Said Principal Dempsey. "Thank you to our students, staff and the community for your talent and hard work. I am so proud of Bengal Nation."

The recognition reflects District 228's continued focus on academic achievement, equitable student support and preparing graduates to succeed in college, careers and their communities.
