Oak Forest HS Inducts 50 New Members into National Honor Society

Oak Forest High School National Honor Society Sponsor Kelly Henry announced that Oak Forest High School recently inducted fifty new National Honor Society members.

Inducted were:  Lacey Alleruzzo, Erika Arias, Britta Beardsley, Jeffrey Benin, Ashely Benninger, Stephanie Bird, Alexia Boclair, Peter Boyajian, Alec Brown, Aldwin Cabalfin, Alyssa Cabrera, Abigal Campos, Emily Cervantes, Caitlyn Chismark, Karalyn Collazo, Gina D’Angelo, Megan Fraider, Mathew Gorecki, Alena Harm, Sara Helsel, Molly Hogan, Akash Jani, Austin Jester, Michelle LaBuda, Leanne Latocha, Alexis Leggs, Katherine Maurer, Morgan McMurray, Osama Osaghae, Molly Owens, Sara Papiez, Grace Pedley, Jacqueline Pytko, Jake Rickord, Christopher Ryan, Yazan Salah, Antoinette Samoska, Brittany Schramm, Courtney Schwenkel, Bradley Smith, Sara Soltis, Shavawnte Sullivan, Luke Taccola, Jacob Toppen, Tabin Vrba, Jennifer Walsh, Lee Wanatowicz, George Wasielewski, Kayli Weber, and Jillian Zuccarelli.

The ceremony included remarks by National Honor Society President Holly Schwertfeger, Vice President Amanda Perlinski, Vice President Jake Lawrence, Secretary Danielle Dougherty, and Treasurer Taylor Dazzo.  Principal Brad Sikora and Assistant Principal Savka Mladenovich guided the candle lighting ceremony.  The special keynote speaker was Oak Forest High School science teacher Dawn Sasek.
