Arizona Man Charged With Beating, Robbing Pizza Delivery Driver

An Arizona man arrested for beating up and robbing a Domino's pizza deliver driver in 2017.

OAK FOREST, IL — An Arizona man was arrested after he beat up and robbed a pizza delivery driver, prosecutors said. Jeavondar Brown, 28, of Ford Heights, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on a robbery charge. Brown was arrested on a 2-year-old warrant.

Around 11:30 p.m. May 25, 2017, a Domino’s Pizza employee went to deliver food in the 15000 block of Latrobe Drive, Oak Forest. After Brown handed over the money for the pizza, the prosecutor said Brown punched him in the face several times.

Brown was identified from a fingerprint, the prosecutor said. The employee was also picked Brown out from a photo array, according to the charges.

Bail was set at $200,000. Brown is due back in court Nov. 20 in Bridgeview.
