Bouncer Loses Eye after High Heel Flies at Martini Bar

A patron flung the shoe at the bouncer's face after an argument over a sleeping bar-goer in Oak Forest.

A bouncer at a bar in Oak Forest lost his eyeball when a female patron threw her high-heeled shoe at him.

The woman began arguing with the employee at Linger Martini Bar, 4142 W. 167th St., after a man she was with was asked to leave. He’d fallen asleep at the bar, Sun-Times Media reports.

Tenisha Netter, 38, of Calumet City, accosted the guard outside the bar, according to police reports, and heaved a high heel at his face. The heel hit him in the eye. Staff ordered the bar closed while awaiting police.
