Beat the Heat with an Ice Cream Treat and Help Gingerwood Pool

Thursday is expected to be a scorcher. What better way to combat the heat than with some frozen custard?

2 Sistster Frozen Custard will again sell cups of their tasty dessert for $2 each on Thursday at Gingerwood Pool.

The Midlothian-based frozen custard store was at Gingerwood earlier this month, selling treats to raise money for the pool.

is located at 5124 Aldersyde Road. The pool is open to all Oak Forest residents but access is based on membership. 

Gingerwood is open noon to 8 p.m. seven days a week, depending on the weather.
