Beloved Longtime Oak Forest High School Nurse Dies at 86

A longtime, caring member of Oak Forest High School’s past has died.

Rita Ulrich, 86, served as school nurse from 1970–1998. Memorial visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 23, from 3 p.m. until funeral service at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S. Southwest Hwy.

Ulrich was grandmother of five, great-grandmother of one, as well as sister of one. In lieu of flowers, family ask that you donate to an animal shelter of your choice, in memory of Rita.
